Celebrate Los Osos held a music festival to raise funds for current and future projects.
Over 1,100 people gathered at the Back Bay Inn garden to tap their toes, sway, and dance to the music of Cuesta College’s vocal jazz ensemble Vocé, Cafe Musique, world music group Umojah, and CaliCubano musicians Zongo All-Stars.
With free admission, the event featured a BBQ by the Bay/Osos Kiwanis Club and included including wine, beer, a raffle, and participation by Los Osos/Baywood Park artists and craftspeople.
The event was sponsored by the Back Bay and Baywood Inns, with lots of planning and cooperation from the Back Bay Inn’s Lee family.
The Festival was a huge success!
The music was fabulous and we thank all of the musicians who participated. We especially want to thank all of our incredibly dedicated, hard-working volunteers. Once again, they rose to the occasion and helped raise a total of almost $10,000!
The proceeds went to finish paying for the LOVR median replanting and to get a start on the Sweet Springs Trail to the Baywood Pier project, and the Cuesta Inlet cleanup.
Thank you to all who worked on the event.
